Third-grader stacks Junior Olympics

Taylor Adair, third grader at Columbine Elementary School, distinguished himself at the AAU Junior Olympics in July in Detroit.

Entered in the category of speed stacking, Adair won two bronze medals in relays and took a seventh-place ribbon in individual cycle and a fourth-place ribbon in relay.

Adair qualified for the Olympics when his teacher, Julie Cutting, took a team to the regional cup-stacking competition in February at the Colorado Springs Olympic Training Center.

Adair’s dream is to be on Team USA in speed stacking.
