Teller County arrests

The following list of arrests is provided by area law enforcement agencies. An arrest is not an indication of guilt or innocence and there might be several people with the same name living in the county.

Woodland Park Police Department

Nov. 7

A report of harassment was taken in the 100 block of South Park Street. The case is open pending further investigation.

A report of forgery was taken in the 100 block of South Park Street. The case is open pending further investigation.

A report of theft was taken in the 300 block of East U.S. 24. The case is closed, victim failed to prosecute.

Nov. 8

Wilmer Fernandez, 30, of Colorado Springs was involved in a one-vehicle traffic accident with no injuries. He was issued a citation for careless driving, driving vehicle without valid license and operating an uninsured vehicle.

A report of a theft was taken in the 800 block of Lorraine Avenue. The case is open pending further investigation.

Nov. 9

Chad Hooper, 39, of Florissant was arrested on charges of an outstanding warrant. He was transported to the Teller County Jail on a $500 bond.

Nov. 10

A report of unauthorized use of financial device was taken in the 300 block of West U.S. 24. The case is open pending further investigation.

Nov. 10

Sandra Riley, 56, of Woodland Park and Sharon Slaven, 69, of Woodland Park were involved in a two-vehicle traffic accident with no injuries. Slaven was issued a citation for backing a vehicle when not safe.

Nov. 11

Donna Felts, 68, of Woodland Park and Robert Colgan, 48, of Divide were involved in a two-vehicle traffic accident with no injuries. Colgan was issued a citation for backing a vehicle when not safe.

Nov. 12

Ricky Harding, 52, of Florissant and Charles Sisk, 51, of Woodland Park were involved in a two-vehicle traffic accident with no injuries. Harding was issued a citation for backing a vehicle when not safe.

Nov. 13

Daniel Desbois, 63, of Woodland Park was arrested on outstanding warrants. He was transported to the Teller County Jail.

Nov. 7-13, Woodland Park Police also responded to one community action report, two private property traffic accidents and two outside agency assists.

Nov. 14

A report of identity theft was taken in the 1100 block of Michael Lane. The case is open pending further investigation.

A report of harassment was taken in the 700 block of Gold Hill Place. The case is closed victim failed to prosecute.

Nov. 16

A report of identity theft was taken in the 1100 block of Windflower Lane. The case is open pending further investigation.

A report of fuel piracy was taken in the 40 block of North Colo. 67. The case is open pending further investigation.

Nov. 17

John McClure, 40, of Woodland Park and David Morrison, 61, of Woodland Park were involved in a two-vehicle traffic accident with no injuries. McClure was issued a citation for following too closely and failure to present proof of insurance.

A report of criminal mischief was taken in the 19000 block of East U.S. 24. The case is open pending further investigation.

Nov. 18

A report of assault was taken in the 600 block of Blue Spruce Street. The case is closed, victim failed to prosecute.

A report of trespassing was taken in the 200 block of Pikes Peak Avenue. The case is open pending further investigation.

A report of theft was taken in the 500 block of East U.S. 24. The case is closed, victim failed to prosecute.

A report of trespassing and theft was taken in the 700 block of Center Avenue. The case is open pending further investigation.

Nov. 19

A report of theft was taken in the 19600 block of East U.S. 24. The case is open pending further investigation.

Emily Habermann, 20, of Woodland Park was arrested on charges of harassment, child abuse and domestic violence. She was transported to the Teller County Jail on a $2,000 bond.

Nov. 20

A report of reckless driving and reckless endangerment was taken in the area of Regent Drive and Pembrook Drive. The case is open pending further investigation.

Hunter Gunneson, 18, of Woodland Park and Dodie Spry, 41, of Florissant were involved in a two-vehicle traffic accident with major injuries. Gunneson was issued a citation for vehicle turning left in front of approaching traffic, drivers license required, and expired plates.

Nov. 14-20. Woodland Park Police also responded to one community action report and one outside agency assist.

Nov. 21

Roy Turner, 29, of Colorado Springs was arrested on charges of domestic violence, theft, possession of identification document and possession of financial device. He was transported to the Teller County Jail on a $5,000 bond.

Nov. 24

Amber Carpenter, 27, of Green Mountain Falls was arrested on charges of driving under the influence of alcohol, drove vehicle with excessive alcohol content and drove on wrong side of divided roadway. She was transported to the Teller County Jail on a $1,000 bond.

Michael Molter, 52, of Salida was arrested on charges of an outstanding warrant. He was transported to the Teller County Jail on a $500 bond.

A report of damaging unlawful was taken in the 300 block of East U.S. 24. The case is open pending further investigation.

A report of identity theft and forgery was taken in the 40 block of Aspen Drive. The case is open pending further investigation.

Nov. 21-27, Woodland Park Police also responded to one outside agency assist and two private property traffic accidents.

Nov. 29

A report of harassment and civil dispute was taken in the 700 block of Columbine Village Drive. The case is open pending further investigation.

Dec. 2

John Kimberlin, 32, of Woodland Park was arrested on charges of menacing, harassment, and domestic violence. He was transported to the Teller County Jail on a $6,000 bond.

A report of unauthorized use of financial transaction was taken in the 100 block of East Henrietta Avenue. The case is open pending further investigation.

A report of damaging unlawful was taken in the 600 block of West Lake Avenue. The case is open pending further investigation.

Dec. 3

A report of harassment was taken in the 19000 block of East U.S. 24. The case is open pending further investigation.

A report of trespassing and theft was taken in the 1000 block of Forest Hill Road. The case is open pending further investigation.

Bobby Knapp, 39, Woodland Park was arrested on charges of driving under the influence, resisting arrest and failure to yield to emergency vehicle. He was transported to the Teller County Jail on a $1,000 bond.

Nov. 28-Dec. 4, Woodland Park Police also responded to five outside agency assist, one community action report and six private property traffic accidents.

Nov. 4

Luis Raul Lujan-Torres, 19, of Pueblo was arrested on a warrant charging failure to appear on an original charge of limited gaming (minor gambling). Bond was set at $500.

Nov. 9

Kenneth Earl Reid, 61, of Woodland Park was arrested on a warrant charging failure to comply on an original charge of obstructing a peace officer, resisting arrest and harassment. This was a no bond warrant.

Nov. 10

Daniel Robert Christie, 59, of Divide was served and released on the charge of third degree assault and harassment.

Garth William Bockelmann, 38, of Cripple Creek was served and released on the charge of reckless endangerment and harassment.

Melissa Renee Evans, 42, of 37 Anemone Lane, Woodland Park was arrested on a warrant charging failure to appear on an original charge of driver’s license (evade interlock). Bond was set at $200.

Nov. 11

Erik Kennedy Gillespie, 46, of Thornton was arrested on a warrant charging failure to comply on an original charge of driving while ability impaired. Bond was set at $1,959.

Thomas Joseph Ramos, 57, of Colorado Springs was arrested on charges of driving under the influence of drugs and weaving. Bond was set at $1,000.

Nov. 13

Jeffery Dwayne Walker, 47, of Diboll, Texas was arrested on three warrants; first warrant charging contempt of court on vehicular eluding, bond $25,000, second warrant charging failure to appear on an original charge of criminal mischief, bond $25,000 and the third warrant charging failure to appear on an original charge of larceny, bond $25,000.

Nov. 14

Lawrence A. Berkley, 18, of Colorado Springs was arrested on a warrant charging failure to appear on an original charge of speeding and failure to display proof of insurance. Bond was $400.

Nov. 15

Erin James McDaniel, 25, of Colorado Springs was arrested on charges of driving under restraint and speed regulations. Bond was set at $1,000.

Andrea Lee Mardon, 48, of Florissant was arrested on a warrant charging failure to appear on an original charge of cruelty to animals. Bond was set at $3,200.

James Troy Miller, 45, of Colorado Springs was arrested on a warrant charging failure to appear on an original charge of driving under restraint and speeding. Bond was set at $800.

Nov. 16

Jacob Nathan Hertzka, 18, of Divide was arrested on a warrant charging failure to appear on an original charge of third degree assault and harassment. Bond was set at $500.

Jean M. Phelps, 44, of Bailey was served and released on the charge of reckless driving, harassment and reckless endangerment.

Nov. 17

Francis Camacho, 29, of Colorado Springs was arrested on a warrant charging failure to comply on an original charge of driving under the influence. Bond was set at $2,000.

Nov. 18

Joshua Sherwood Mooney, 32, of Woodland Park was arrested on two warrants; first warrant charging failure to appear on an original charge of failure to stop at a stop sign, no insurance, driving under restraint and failure to display proof of insurance, bond $3,200 and the second warrant charging failure to appear on an original charge of expired license plates, driving under restraint and no insurance, bond $3,200.

Nov. 19

Alexander Gribble McCurdy, 57, of Victor was arrested on charges of false imprisonment, third degree assault, harassment and domestic violence.

After advisement, bond was set at $6,000.

Ryan Joseph Nino, 28, of Englewood was arrested on a warrant charging failure to appear on an original charge of driving under the influence. Bond was set at $800.

John Ray Hancock, 22, of Victor was arrested on charges of special offender, possession of a schedule 2 controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia, possession of a weapon by a previous offender and possession of a defaced firearm. Bond was set at $2,000. He was initially placed on a probation hold which was subsequently lifted.

James Gene Shoop, 29, of Colorado Springs was arrested on charges of offenses relating to marijuana. Bond was set at $2,000. He was placed on a parole hold.

Kaysie Rae Snare, 24, of Cripple Creek was arrested on charges of special offender, possession of schedule 2 controlled substance, possession of drug paraphernalia and possession of a defaced firearm. Bond was set at $2,000.

Nov. 20

Juanita Ray, 61, of Colorado Springs was arrested on a warrant charging failure to appear on an original charge of driving under restraint, failure to display proof of insurance and improper pass. Bond was set at $100.

Jessica Lynn Brandon, 22, of Cripple Creek was arrested on a warrant charging failure to appear on an original charge of trespass. Bond was set at $100.

Nov. 21

Corey Clayton Snell, 50, of Divide was arrested on a warrant charging failure to comply on an original charge of possession of one to eight ounces of marijuana. Bond was set at $5,000.

Nov. 22

David Paul Robertson, 43, of Fountain was arrested on a warrant charging failure to appear on an original charge of third degree assault. Bond was set at $1,600.

Nov. 23

John David Pounds, 41, of Divide was arrested on charges of driving while revoked, speed limits and failing to obtain registration within 60 days of purchase of vehicle. Bond was set at $1,000.

John Ray Hancock, 22, of Colorado Springs was arrested on a warrant charging failure to comply on an original charge of criminal mischief. Bond was set at $50,000.

Nico Cruz Santos, 21, of Colorado Springs was arrested on a warrant charging violation of bail bond conditions. This was a no bond warrant.

Bryan Avery Howe, 31, of Greeley was arrested on a warrant charging failure to appear on an original charge of possession of contraband. Bond was set at $750.

Nov. 24

Paul Helit, 52, of Cripple Creek was arrested on a warrant charging a protection order violation. Bond was $500.

Nov. 25

Breanna Kay Aragon, 21, of Pueblo was arrested on charges of driving under restraint and speed regulations. Bond was set at $2,000.

Nicholas Allison, 32, of Woodland Park was served and released on the charge of driving under revocation.

Michael Edwin McDaniel, 36, of Colorado Springs was arrested on a warrant charging failure to comply on an original charge of reckless endangerment. Bond was set at $2,000.

Dennis J. Malouf, 52, of Albuquerque, New Mexico was arrested on a warrant charging failure to appear on an original charge of speeding. Bond was set at $600.

Nov. 27

Zachary Sabin Elder, 25, of Florissant, while incarcerated, was served with two warrants; first warrant charging failure to appear on an original charge of driving under the influence, driver’s license (driving outside class) and driving under the influence per se, bond $1,000 and the second warrant charging failure to appear on an original charge of disorderly conduct (fighting in public), bond of $400.

Johna Lane Cooper, 49, of Divide was arrested on two warrants; first warrant charging failure to appear on an original charge of theft, bond $1,000 and the second warrant charging failure to appear on an original charge of driving while ability impaired, bond $1,000.

Nov. 29

Marlene Marie Ricketts, 53, of Florissant was arrested on charges of driving while ability impaired by drugs, possession of drug paraphernalia and defective head lamp. Bond was set at $800.

Eldon Eugene Stevenson, 66, of Woodland Park was arrested on a warrant charging theft. Bond was set at $10,000.

Nov. 30

James Troy Miller, 45, of Colorado Springs was arrested on charges of driving under restraint, careless driving and lane usage. Bond was set at $7,000.
